Spirit week is super fun - thanks to everyone participating!
Normal practice tomorrow, Wednesday - 8-9:30am and 9:30-11am.
WEDNESDAY: dress up as your favorite character day (tv show, movie, book etc…)
THURSDAY: twin day! (Twin with a friend or multiple on the team, or maybe even with a coach ;)
FRIDAY: DRAG DAY!!!! (as in resistance in the water, not the other one ;)
Last day of pre team is this Friday!

Splash Hop Awards Ceremony on Monday August 3rd from 4-8pm:
Thank you for being such an important part of our summer 2026 swim season! Your support, energy, and enthusiasm helped make it a wonderful experience for all.
We’d love to celebrate together with a well-deserved gathering! Please join us for food, drinks, and pool fun as we wrap up the season and recognize all the hard work and great memories.
Schedule:
4-5pm get a bracelet from a board member and enjoy time in the competition pool only (we've been asked to NOT use the zero entrance pool until lessons are over at 6:45)
5pm gather under the pavilion for delicious food and refreshments
5:30 pm acknowledge of coaches and swimmers
6pm dessert and back to the competition pool
7pm both pools are open for all Rapids swimmers and their families
8pm pool classes (7:30 pm bathrooms will be closed)
Rosendale Town Board Meeting Wednesday, August 12th
We would like to have Rapids Team members at the Rosendale Town Board in August, to thank the town for having an amazing resource for our kids and to give them a little info on who we are and how much we love our Rosendale Swim Team! Many of us will be away that week, so if you are able to come and being your kids, it would be great to have a presence there, so the town can see what a great community building experience the swim team provides for our families and our town. Be sure to wear your team merch!
If you would like to be more involved in the "behind the scenes" of the swim team, please let us know! Our board meetings are open to the public and we love having more parents volunteer to help out!

2026 Schedule
THE ROSENDALE POOL REOPENS FOR PRACTICE TOMORROW MORNING, JILY 7th.
Monday June 29 through Friday July 31 - Morning practices at Rosendale Pool
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays:
8:00-9:30 AM - Practice for campers and swimmers who work (end 9:00 AM younger swimmers)
9:30-11:00 AM - Practice for non-campers (end 10:30 AM younger swimmers)
Wednesdays:
10:00 - 11:00 AM - Optional clinic
Tuesday June 30 - Orientation for Pre-Team Swimmers at 8:00 AM, all Pre-Team Families must attend - meet coaches and get your practice schedule
Pre-team practice three mornings a week on Tues, Thurs and Fridays from 8:00 - 8:30 AM, or from 8:30 - 9:00 AM in the zero entrance pool. Last practice Friday, July 31.

Athlete Requirements
All athletes must be able to swim one length of the pool using one of the appropriate swim strokes: free, back, breast, or fly.
Volunteer requirements for the 2026 season will depend on the number of swimmers on the team. If your swimmer is participating in a meet, anticipate that you may be needed to fill a volunteer slot.

following forms need to be filled out online prior to your child participating on the
Rosendale Rapids Swim Team:
- Registration Form
- Hold Harmless Agreement
2026 Registration Fee:
One Swimmer $180 Two
Swimmers $335 Three or more swimmers $485
**Includes Town of Rosendale Fee, DUSO fees and Splash Hop**
2026 Pre-team:
Swimmers between the ages of 4-7 who are comfortable in the water, but do not meet the team swimming requirements would be eligible for pre-team.
- Registration for Pre-team $135 per swimmer ($125 for Rapids’ siblings)
**Financial Assistance and scholarships available on a limited basis. Contact the team for more information.
Refund Policy:
A 50% refund is possible up until June 27th, 2026.
