Hello swim families! It has been so wonderful seeing our new and returning swim families at the pool for our first practices this week. 

I wanted to send a quick reminder that Volunteer Sign ups go live on Saturday, June 22 at 9:00 AM (instructions below). Families are required to work four (4) slots during the summer season. 

Meet sign ups for the first meet on Wed, July 3 will also open this Saturday at 9:00. We are opening the first meet only this Saturday since this is a new system for us, and the remaining meets will be opened sometime next week. Parents should log in to SwimTopia even if their swimmer(s) are not attending to declare that they will not be present. Swimmers may select up to two (2) individual events. Coaches will select the 3rd event and possibly a relay (swimmers will be informed by the coaches at the meet if they are swimming in a relay).  

Once you sign up for a volunteer shift and select events for your swimmer, these selections will appear on the SwimTopia app. 

Signup Instructions for Volunteer Positions:

• Log in to the website. Login is found in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  • If you can’t remember your password, click "Forgot your password" to reset your password.
• Under the Meets & Events tab, select "Signup Calendar".
• Scroll to the find the dates of the meets you plan to volunteer.
• Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab and sign up for volunteer shifts (note one parent may sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other parent listed).
• Click Save Assignments.
• Click Back to Signup Calendar.

For Meet signups:

• Under the Meets & Events tab, select "Signup Calendar".

• Click the green MEET ENTRY tab, and then click the green Edit tab under your athletes' names.
• For each of your athletes, select an option from the drop down list next to their names.
  • Attending
  • Not Attending

• Swimmer's can choose 2 events
• Coach's will choose 3rd event
• Coach's will select relay team
• Click Save to record your choices.

***Download the SwimTopia App (available for Apple or Android phones). This will allow you to view upcoming events, volunteer signups, meet entries, swim history, as well as receive notifications if practice is canceled or delayed.**
