Hello Rapids Families!!! We have lots of important information in this e-mail about our upcoming home meet!!!!!!

1) Arrival/ set-up: Families should arrive on Sat by 7:00 AM!!! 

• We are permitted TWO SPECTATORS PER FAMILY. 
• Everyone can set up inside the pool area. 
  • The Town of Rosendale has requested that the Rapids encourage mask wearing when social distancing is not possible. 
• Tents/ chairs can be set up on the grassy area by the shallow end of the lap pool. 
  • Overflow tents/ chairs can be set up on the grassy area along the bath house.
• **Volunteers should check in with Tracy Steeves**

2) Team picture/Warm-ups

• Team picture will  be taken at 7:20!!
  • Swimmers should wear their team suit or team shirt, if they have them. 
• Warmups begin at 7:30 
• Meet begins at 8:00 AM!!

3) Bath house will be open for use

• Only 2 patrons at at time can use the bathrooms. 
• Masks must be worn in the bathrooms. 
• Showers and changing areas are closed. Swimmers should arrive dressed to swim!!!

4) Spectators can view the events from the shallow end of the pool or behind the rope on the side of the pool closest to the zero entry pool.

• NO SPECTATORS are permitted behind the blocks or on the side of the pool near the wall/ coaches tent. 
• Only swimmers and volunteers should be on the pool deck during the meet.

5) We will be providing bagels for all!!

• There will NOT be a concession at the meet, so please plan accordingly and pack waters, snacks, etc. for your swimmer(s). 

6) We will be raffling off some AWESOME donated items, as well as selling 50/50 tickets at the meet.

7) Merchandise - We will have most of the team apparel ready for pickup on Friday at practice. Sweatpants and masks will be available on Saturday at the meet.

****There are still several open jobs!!!!! Please check the list and sign up, if you are able. Since it will be out team only at the pool, it is all hands on deck!!! We appreciate everyone pitching in to help to make this a fun day for our swimmers!!!

We are SO EXCITED to have our team together in our home pool for the meet! We will record our swimmers' times and the file will be merged with Kerhonkson following the meet - results will be available on Sunday!
