Hey Rapids Families! It was great to meet so many new families last night! 

Important update: Tonight (and moving forward), swimmers will use the gate by the Rapids shed (near the competition pool) to enter for practice. Please do not enter until the coaches and lifeguard are ready.

Parents are welcome to view practice through the gate, or hang out under the pavilion or at the park. If parents choose to leave, please stay nearby in the event of storms that require us to leave the pool.

Reminders:

• Parents cannot be in the pool area during practice. The Town of Rosendale allows us to use the pool while it is not open to the public, and we must respect their rules in our signed agreement for the season. The Rapids are required to provide our own lifeguards during practice and it is a liability to have parents and minors who are not registered swimmers in the pool area. 
• Swimmers should bring two pairs of goggles, a towel and water. Please come dressed in your bathing suit and ready to swim.

Tonight - Meet the Coaches/ Information Session for ALL families at 5:45 PM under the Pavilion. 

• Coaches will walk over to the Pavilion around 5:50 with the 12 and under swimmers and after the coach introductions, 13 and older swimmers can head into the pool for practice. 
• The Board will provide a brief information session with updates for the 2022 season and will be available afterward for any families who have additional questions. 
• 5:00-6:00 - Practice for 12 and under swimmers
• 6:00-7:00 - Practice for 13 and older swimmers
