Hello Rapids families! We are reaching out again to see if anyone is interested in training to become an official for swim meets. Officials attend a virtual training and then shadow at 3 meets. It is not necessary to attend every dual meet for the season to become an official.

Officials are an integral part of swim meets. Each team is supposed to have 3 officials at every meet, according to the bylaws. Our team currently has two. We need 50 officials (from the 8 teams in the league) to run DUSO champs. 

Info for those who are interested:

• New officials will watch attached videos and attend one online (zoom session) to go over rules and requirements. This should only last about 1 hr. 15 minutes. After the class you will get a link to the exam which you will have a few days to complete.
