Hello Rapids Families! Happy 2024!

The forecast is snow, but we are dreaming of summer! Our board is not quite complete, but our small and mighty crew is already planning for the 2024 summer season. Our next board meeting will be Thurs, Jan 18th at 6pm at the Rosendale Rec Center. All are welcome to attend. 

We still need additional members to complete our 2024 Rapids Board. As everyone knows, our President and Vice President positions remain open. While I have agreed to serve as interim President during the transition, we are in dire need of 2-3 parents who are willing to step into VP positions to shadow the President for the 2024 season. It is understandable that parents are apprehensive about taking on this role, but the best way to learn is by being involved and learning from parents who have experience. A complete board of parent volunteers will allow our seasoned members to pass down their knowledge and will make everyone's commitment manageable. The reality is that without a full board, we may not be able to move forward with a 2024 season.

We are awaiting approval of the draft schedule from all the DUSO team representatives and we will share information about meet dates, season start date, and registration as soon as it is available.
