Hello Rapids Families!

Our March Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 21st at 6:30 PM at the Rosendale Community Center. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend!

We are still in need of a few parents interested in chairing or co-chairing two important committees:

• Friday breakfast committee
  • While everyone LOVES Friday breakfast, we need at least 2-3 parents to plan and organize Friday breakfasts for the month of July. This would include requesting donations, set-up and clean-up, and serving the swimmers during breakfast. 
  • There are always plenty of parents to pitch in, but the board is busy with coordinating and planning meets, and this needs to shift to other parent volunteers. 
  • We will NOT be hosting Friday team breakfasts for the 2024 season without a breakfast committee.
• DUSO decorating/ planning committee
  • This group of parents would organize props, decor, signs, etc. for swimmers and coaches for the DUSO parade, and any other fun little items (such as treats or goody bags) for the day of champs.

The countdown to summer is on! Here is some important information for the upcoming season:

1) Online Registration opens on April 1st!

• Registration will be opening online on April 1st for both swim team and pre-team.
• Registration Fee: (Includes Town Fee, DUSO entry fees, & Splash Hop)
  • 1 Swimmer $180 2 Swimmers $335 3 or more swimmers $485
  • Pre-team $110 per swimmer ($100 for Rapids’ siblings)

2) 2024 Season - Important dates

• The season lasts from June 12th - July 29th (See practice schedule)
• Practice is held Monday-Friday mornings (evenings while school is in session.)
• Meets are Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings in July. (See Meet Schedule)

3) Burger Bar Fundraiser!

• Please join us for the 3rd annual Santa Fe Burger Bar fundraiser on Sunday, April 14th. 20% of your bill goes to the Rosendale Rapids
