Hello Rapids! Tomorrow is the deadline to sign up for swim events and volunteer jobs for our first meet on Saturday, 6/29 at the Rosendale Pool! Sign ups will CLOSE at 9PM! 

We are still in need of one parent to sell 50/50 tickets and one more volunteer for concession. If your child is swimming Saturday and you have not selected a job, please sign up! We are also looking for a few items for concession if you are able to donate.

If you have not already done so, download the SwimTopia app! Our home meets will run on Meet Maestro through SwimTopia. You will be able to view your child's events, see their unofficial times during the meet, and receive notifications of any announcements or updates.

We are very excited about Saturday's meet! Please remember that this year, due to the way the calendar falls, our first meet is VERY early. Hyde Park is only beginning practice this Thursday! Both teams will have many new swimmers in the water and new parent volunteers. Be patient, be kind, be supportive and please set reasonable expectations for your swimmer(s). Rapids love healthy competition, but we also value teamwork and we emphasize fun!!

Wednesday is our last evening practice. Thursday we will transition to morning practice and pre-team will begin. Pre-team families will receive a separate email with group assignments and additional information.

• June 27 - July 26: Practice will be held Monday-Friday mornings
  • 8:00-9:30 - Practice for campers and swimmers who work (10 and under swimmers will practice 8:00-9:00)
  • 9:30-11:00 - Non-campers (10 and under will practice 9:30-10:30)
  • Coaches will adjust swim times as needed based on level of experience
  • Pre-team groups will practice Tues, Thurs and Friday at 8:00-8:30 OR 8:30-9:00, beginning on Thurs, 6/27.
  • Please note: on Wednesdays where meets are scheduled, clinics are offered in the mornings. We will have updates on clinic offerings next week.

Bathing suits will be distributed at practice on Friday!

Merchandise is nearly ready! We will be picking up the order Thursday or Friday afternoon and merch will be distributed at the meet on Saturday.
