Hello Pre-team families! This Thursday, pre-team begins! 

Practice will be held from 8:00-8:30 OR 8:30-9:00 (please see group assignments). Practice is held in the zero entry pool in an area where swimmers can stand, and they move into slightly deeper water with their coaches, when they are ready. We have three pre-team coaches, Coach Grace, Coach Natalie and Coach Abby. There will be two coaches in the water with the kids and one lifeguarding the zero-entry pool during practice. 

Parents can bring swimmers into the pool area and the coaches will line the kids up along the edge of the pool to begin practice. The first two days, the coaches will take the time for the kids to learn each other's names and their coaches names, discuss water safety, and assess each swimmer's level of comfort and skill. 

On Thursday, we will hold a brief orientation and information session for pre-team parents. We will meet on the grass area next to the zero entry pool. For pre-team practice, we do allow parents inside the pool area, but we ask that they stay off the pool deck to allow a little space for the coaches to work with the kids. 

Please make sure your swimmers come dressed to swim and have goggles and a towel. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday!
