Important Information/reminders: 

1. Swim meet signups for Wednesday's meet at Kerhonkson due tomorrow! Its is very important that swimmers sign up for meets by the deadline. If you know your swimmer is attending meets, please go in and sign up today. If your swimmers is not attending, please go in and select "not attending". You can still modify your selection and change event selections until the signup closes.
   
2. We are still collections donations for the Coach Kevin Storrs Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is to honor Kevin Storrs’ commitment to not only the physical demands of swimming, but the development of one’s character for having participated in the world of swimming. All DUSO teams are collecting donations. Please consider making a donation so that we can continue the tradition of awarding senior swimmers in Kevin’s honor. Donations of any amount can be send via Venmo to @Keri-McArdle. We appreciate your consideration and support.
   
3. "Splash Out Hunger" food drive will take place Friday, 7/19 and Sat, 7/20. Swim families and community members can donate items during Friday's practice (7/19) or swim families can bring donated items to the home meet on Sat, 7/20. The Rosendale food pantry feeds the people in need in our community, especially with children home for the summer and not receiving free meals from their schools. Items in need are included on the attached flyer. The Rapids are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support we receive from our community, and this is a time for us to give back. Items can be bought to practice any day this week.
   
4. RSVPs are open for the Splash Hop, our end of year celebration, which will be held on Mon, 7/29 (rain date Tues, 7/30). PLEASE RSVP as soon as you are able for ALL members of your family who will be attending. We need an accurate count so we can order food and cupcakes and request enough passes so the town can include our guests in their count for the pool. Sign ups will CLOSE on Thurs, 7/25.
   
   
5. Information coming soon regarding DUSO championship meet. Rapids will be swimming at the Hyde Park location. Swimmers must participate in a minimum of two meets and have a legal swim in an event from the 2024 season to swim the event at DUSO.
