Good morning Rapids families! Even though it’s technically off-season, it’s never an off-season when it comes to advertising our group and doing a little fundraising! Tonight is the Food Truck Festival at the Bloomington Fire Department, and for the last few years the Rapids have had a booth set up with some information about the team, and donation baskets. We also use this night as a way to recruit new team sponsorships AND garner swimmers interested in joining next summer. We know it’s a busy time of year with getting ready for back to school and end of summer vacations, however, if you’re free tonight, come out from 5-9 pm and join some of the board members and their families and spread the word about the Rosendale Rapids Swim Team! Its also a great excuse to not have to cook as there are over a dozen food trucks and vendors to choose from for dinner, and a live band.
