The DUSO championship meet will be held at the Red Hook Pool at 99 Linden Ave, Red Hook, NY 12571

1. Parking - They will open the lots at 6am. There are about 100 general parking spots at the pool area, once these spots are full we will ask parents to head up to the Middle School parking lot 65 W Market St to park.It’s about a ¼ mile walk from the school parking lot to the pool, there will be a 5-person shuttle for those that are in need but you can pull up in front of pool are for drop off then have one family member go to park. *No PARKING along LINDEN Ave please - cars WILL be towed!*

2. Warm-Ups: Rapids warm ups are from 7:40am - 8:20am.

3. Team Tents: Each team will have a large circus/wedding tent behind the tennis courts, there will be signage for you to find the Rapids tent. NO POP UPS PLEASE. Each tent will be clearly labeled the day of so families can find your team tent easily. Swimmers and families will enter through a gate on the north side of the pool for seeding, watching and cheering!

4. Parade - The DUSO parade line-up will be right after warm-ups, parade starts at 8:30am. The theme is Hawaiian Luau, please bring fun props and costumes like hawaiian shirts or sarongs or grass skirts, we have flower leis for kids to wear too.

5. Event start - first swim events starts at 9am!

3.Food Vendors- They will have three food vendors on site the day of champs plus a bake table and pizza provided by the Red Hook Sea Raiders team. Two of the vendors are CASH only and one vendor will accept VENMO.

4. Bathrooms: The bathhouse is reserved for officials and coaches only - no use by families or swimmers - we ask that you use the portable toilets or bathroom trailer outside the pool complex.

6. House Keeping & Rules

a. Lifeguards will be circulating throughout the day to keep our facilities clean. There will be trash cans throughout for all teams/families to use.

b. The DUSO Champs Committee will be wearing bright pink t-shirts and circulating throughout the day to answer any questions.

c. The pool borders the public rec facility. Please encourage swimmers to stay close to the pool as it is a LONG walk to try and find missing swimmers on the playground!
