DUSO Champs Info for tomorrow
I hope everyone is resting up and eating lots of carbs! Here's some important info for tomorrow.
Please arrive at the Ulster County Pool before 7am so that your swimmer is ready to jump in the pool at 7am. We have ONE LANE for our whole team to warm up in from 7-7:40am. The parking lot will open at 6am. The parade starts at 8:30. Don't forget your Star Wars props and costumes! And extra goggles and caps and dry towels.
Please be prepared for a long day... there will be hours in between some of your swimmers' events. The last relay is estimated to begin at 6:15pm. Please check with the coaches to see if your swimmer is in a relay. If your swimmer is in a relay and you decide to leave early...the whole relay team gets scratched.
There are no chaperones for this meet. You are responsible for keeping track of the events and getting your swimmer to the bull pen in time for their events. You can purchase the program/heat sheet at the meet.
We have rented a large tent that is located inside the pool area. No pop up tents are allowed. Bring a blanket, chairs, playing cards, games, healthy snacks and encourage your kids to rest throughout the day. The playground will be off limits during the meet. There will be food trucks and concession stand with foods for purchase. Coolers and outside foods are definitely allowed!
This is our culminating event and its going to be fuuuuuunnnnn!
